  • 200 g of pumpkin
  • 150 g of sweet potato
  • 2 teaspoons of (Koikuchi) soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup or honey
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sesame seeds

    Instructions:

    Basic recipe:

    Optional  recipe:

    1. Follow steps 1 and 2 from the basic recipe.
    2. Mix the maple syrup and soy sauce together.
    3. Saute the pumpkin and sweet potatoes with olive oil until they turn golden brown.
    4. Add the maple syrup and soy sauce mixture into the pan and cook with lid on for a while to steam the vegetables. Be sure to shake it the pan every so often.
    5. When the pumpkin and sweet potatoes are cooked, remove the lid and keep roasting the mixture until the sauce thickens.
    6. After plating the dish, sprinkle sesame seed.
